The Third round of the JP / Neilpryde UKWA Slalom series which is taking place over the same weekend as the Demo at Aberdovey. To enter the slalom event will cost you just £40, but for this you will get all of the following:
- UKWA membership
- Entry to the Slalom weekend event
- Entered into the £1000 prize draw
- UKWA Slalom Series T Shirt
- Third Party Insurance
- Your own National sail number
Free talks from Dave White on speed and generally go fast, Xavier Ferlet on the technical aspects of racing and for the young and lady sailors in attendance we have Tanya Saleh who will be giving tips on technique over grunt...If you'rer sailing back and forth and at least trying to gybe then slalom racing will be great fun for you and something you should defiantly try out and the welcoming atmosphere of this series provides a fantastic opportunity to get afloat.It's important to remember that this year has seen some radical changes to the national slalom series making it more accessible and enjoyable to the recreational sailor and first time competitor. The events have been set up around local retailers and their valued customers and they have been planned to offer as much value for your entry fee as possible.
