After many years travelling with the F1 team, he became UK based in '97and decided to take up a sport again. "I bought a Laser and went racing, after a couple of races I thought, this is slow, now I remember why I got into motor sport. I had another look at Windsurfing, which had moved on dramatically since I last saw it in the late '70s. Windsurfing does it for me! It has all the elements required speed, modern materials, innovative design, tuning, tactics and fitness, and that’s before you get on the water!"
Now into his 4th season of Formula racing, Tim is a fully-fledged Windsurfing addict!
2004 also saw him compete in the Highland Spring HiHo, an event he had on his to do list for quite some time.
