Directions

For your sat-nav the postcode is above

Bewl Valley Reservoir is on the A21 between Sevenoaks and Hastings, a mile or so south of Lamberhurst. Turn south on to the A21 from the M25. Before reaching Lamberhurst follow the new bypass and after you rejoin the old A21 you will find a clearly signed right turn to the Reservoir just after the road becomes a dual carriageway. On entering Bewl Valley Water follow the road round to the right.

Camping

Motorhomes, caravans are to be accommodated in a large area to the right of the club house (about 200 yrds) in what was a former dinghy park.  You should follow the road down, past a large grass area on the left (this area is being used by Scouts and Guides and is not our area for camping) and the main carpark on the right. The road swings to the right past the car park, continue along this bearing left down a slight hill and you will find a large area which will have been cordoned off for Motorhomes and Caravans.  Tents are permitted here and also in an orchard just above and to the right as you come down the slope. The charge is £5 per night and payable at registration.  When the clubhouse is closed, a toilet is available just below the lodge on the right or please see one of the LWA Committee who will have a key to the toilets in the clubhouse.

Trailers

The designated camping area is much nearer the water than the one used previously but if you wish to have your trailers on the beach/slipway please ensure they is secure as there is no night security. If dropping gear off from a car please ensure it is moved to the car park or camping field as soon as possible.
