James Briggs

Started competing in windsurfing at the 2005 Shetland Island Games. Went on to compete in UK Formula Windsurfing Cup Series in 2006. In 2008, had first experience of International Formula Windsurfing. In 2009, took the first steps towards windsurfing professionally with a three month campaign competing on the global Formula Windsurfing tour stages through Europe.

Still searching for that elusive favourite spot. My local breaks in Guernsey are hard to beat with the temperate climate and huge tidal range providing a varied and challenging seascape. North Poland played host to my first international FW competitions and so will always stick in my mind as a unique place.
