2004 was a fulfilling and exciting racing year. The UKWA racing was particularly enjoyable, with plenty of sailing in all weather conditions at attractive venues. Racing the downwind slalom course at Pevensey on my IMCO in 25+ knots of wind will definitely be one of my most memorable moments from 2004’s racing. For the first time in 2004 I also participated in an IMCO World Championship. Although I did not do as well as I had hoped at this event, I did learn a lot that has since benefited my sailing greatly. I will now focus on improving my performance further and doing my best at both national and international level. .
