Slalom 3 – postponed

Following a number of complications the third series event will now be Poole’s and FC Watersports world famous windfest event on the 12th and 13th of September, which incidentally will feature a guest entrant in the form of world champion Antoine Albeau! Southend will be moved and re scheduled, not cancelled, to later in the year (Oct/Nov) and the boys at wet n dry are super keen to put on something special. as soon as this date is known we will publish straight away.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience, tides and winds wait for no one! not even this slalom series!
ION Man

The ION-Man competition will take the form of a 2 day event (18/19th of July) combining a fun series of challenges and competitions to make up the ION-Man final result. Making up the challenges will be sports including windsurf racing, stand-up-paddleboard racing, kayak racing, a multi discipline relay and will include an evening party. More on Surfkraft.

It’s been 50 years since windsurfing was “invented!” at Hayling Island…. And this summer a venue that’s been around for over 150 years on the seafront is re-opening for the windsurfing and local community to enjoy, in time for National Championships in Sept. Inn on the Beach is a great venue and we are trying to raise awareness in the windsurfing community of its re-opening after a massive refurbishment. Check out the Facebook group, and website.
