I bought my first Starboard Youth in February 2003 and started to use bigger and bigger sails till I finished the season using a 9.6 Tushingham Formula.

This year I’m looking forward to joining the main fleet and being shown how it’s done by all the pro’s. My aim for this year is to get to the Formula Youth Worlds, although my chances may be slim due to GCSE’s! Thanks to everyone who has helped me get into the sport - Carsington Sports and Leisure, Aaron Williams, Boardwise, the UKWA, everyone I’ve bought kit off and all those people on the circuit who have made it so easy to enjoy the sport!
