Gill Humble
Born in 1950 I started Windsurfing in South Devon in 1988. A couple of years later I took my son, Dan Ellis, to his first UKBSA event at Pentewan in Cornwall and discovered the friendly world of competitive windsurfing. At first I would just sail out to watch Dan, Tom and Becky competing. Then I started racing at Regional LBSA events, progressing to National and International competition. My philosophy has always been ‘don’t let the men and the kids have all the fun. Get out there and join in!’
