Hugh Jarse at the Isle of Wight

Hugh Jarse

2003 saw Hugh make his debut (first and final?) appearance as a competitor on the UKWA circuit at Bridlington within the Freeride Fleet on a borrowed Techno Formula. Despite Hugh's sudden rush of enthusiasm, his speciality remains the inane comments department and he prides himself on the level of humour and light-hearted entertainment he brings to the events. His primary duties are that of chauffeur & caddy to an up and coming junior star in the formula disipline.

2004 will see Hugh continuing to entertain and assist in equal proportions, and his helpful, and well humoured, advice should be well received by newcomers and experts alike ! Hugh is also a dead cert for any non-windsurfing activities, being surprisingly proficient in conventional sports such as cricket, rounders & football. Be warned when indulging in a sociable half a shandy as this will invariably lead to a sore head and subdued performance the following day. An all round top bloke, but ....... competitive windsurfing ...... really, not his forte - something considered best left to his 'surprisingly' talented offspring !
