Tim Leary at the Isle of Wight

Tim Leary

2003 saw Tim make his debut on the UKWA circuit, initially within the Freeride Fleet until midway through the first season, when he made the difficult transition to join the main FW fleet in order to have the option to use larger rigs in the lighter winds. This change had an obvious effect upon Tim's end of year ranking, something which he imporved on for 2004. 2004 saw the birth of his first son Oliver. In preparation for the 2005 season and to keep fit between events, Tim has taken up long distance cycling. This year he hopes to improve in both slalom and wave disciplines.
