RS:X Transitional training update

It has become apparent that it will be not be viable, or in the sailors best interest, to run a full separate RS:X Youth and Transition Training programme for the winter 2012/13.

The decision has been made to run a combined RS:X RYA Volvo National Youth Squad and Transition Training Squad.

We have made the initial selections for this squad based on the National Youth Squad Criteria and will be making the next review of this squad at the end of the three open training weekends pre-Christmas and the UKWA Inland 5 (ie after the 11th December 2012). Selections for this Squad review will be at the discretion of the RYA Volvo National Youth Squad Selectors.

Any sailors wishing to make an application for this combined squad may apply online on the RYA website for an RSX Youth place from the 1st November.
