Inland roundup - Formula

The inland championship came to a conclusion at Datchet Resevoir. Not many committed to the series this year, but those that did enjoyed some great conditions on flat water. The event was won by Chris Bond who took 1st place in all 4 races.

Victory was far from straight forward with Tim Gibson having at some point lead on 2 of those races. Nick Icke cruised to 3rd place, challenging for the top 2 in the early stages of races. James Battye and Steve Sugden were battling for 4th place and National 11 glory and it was the young Battye that took the honours.

The overall series was was won by Bond making it a double for the season after having taken the cup series. Nick Icke was second with James Battye taking 3rd and also the National 11 crown.
