Freestyle 1 - West Kirby

Just a heads up - there's a great opportunity to get reacquainted with windsurfing friends this coming weekend at the first event in this year's UKWA Freestyle Tour. After months of cold and, for this part of the world, the wrong sort of wind, it's looking like next weekend could be an Event to remember. Temperatures are due to increase to a miraculous 14 degrees C and the wind's scheduled to swing round westerly.

Come and see why West Kirby is the UK's top freestyle venue.  Sailing instructions and Notice of Event will be available very shortly. This year every event will count. You've got to be in it to win it.

If the wind doesn't deliver there'll be the jet-ski on hand to provide tow in action.  And, as last year, the local West Kirby Warriors T15 Club will be putting on a party at a local venue with more plentiful portions and a lower price on the Saturday night!  What's not to like?

Terms of attendance

The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.

Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
