Techno Summer Camp 2015 - Northampton SC

This event will run alongside RS:X Camp for 5 days this year, primarily aimed at those on Techno boards but open to all.

Assistant Coaches: Chloe Bennett, Ali Masters (other coaches will be contracted if numbers require it)

Volunteer coaches who would like to build up their coaching hours are welcome (please contact hel_bennett@hotmail.co.uk)

Onsite camping and meals included.
Fee: £250 (£225 with a £25 discount before 27th July)

The TCA are pleased to announce the event of the year - Summer Camp. This is open training aimed primarily at Techno sailors however the camp is open to all.

The cost of the 5 days training will include coaching, camping, all meals from Monday breakfast to Friday tea.

Under 18's must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian or someone acting in Loco Parentis.
Additional meal vouchers are available at a cost of £70 (this includes all meals and drinks).
Camping will be available from Sunday night.

About the Club

The Club is situated at Pitsford Reservoir and is an ideal venue for sailors of all ages and abilities. The reservoir, near the A508 north of Northampton, covers 450 acres so there is never any problem getting onto the water. The site slopes down directly to the water with access by concrete slipways. The Clubhouse has modern facilities, a galley run by professional caterers, a bar and a comfortable lounge.

About the Inland series

The Inland series objective is to provide high quality racing for all fleets & classes & to include all levels of ability. There will be racing suited to the most experienced and most competative racers, racing for the club/recreational sailor as well as racing for newcomers. Especially welcome are our junior fleets & classes who may be experiencing two day racing for the first time.

From the A14 leave at Junction 2, take the A508 to Northampton. At the first island go streight on, at the second island turn left. The entrance to the club is on your left through the iron gates.

Camping

Overnight parking and camping will be permitted at the club on Friday and Saturday night. There will be a small charge. Excellent showers & toilets are available.

Terms of attendance

The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.

Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
