Jamie Knox has called these dates using his Crystal Tide/Weather ball and so far his events have never failed to give awesome down-the-line conditions!

You can also fly with Ryan Air from London Stansted, Luton or Manchester and rent a car at Kerry which is less than an hour from Brandon Bay.At the moment flights to Kerry for May 2009 are £54 return with Ryan Air. Sports equipment goes at £25 per bag (as of Dec08).

So get that week off work and join us in Ireland - it's always a cracking event!

Ferry Discounts

Apparently the 'ferry codes' given to me by Jeremy at Jamie Knox's don't give a very good discount for those in large vans. I am speaking with Stena Line Saturday morning (2nd) as the 'Event Organizer' to try and get a better discount for competitors travelling in a vehicle not classed as a 'car', ie. anything bigger than a VW Transporter.

If I get anywhere I will send another email out Sunday morning once I've arrived at Brandon Bay OR you can ring me after 1230 on Saturday when I will be about to drive across the Emerald Isle! Mobile: 07768 793874.

Forecast

This could just curse the weather gods but it is looking good for Wednesday/Thursday so please let's get as many competitors as possible to registrar on Tuesday evening, 9pm at Spillanes. Duncan Coombes is arriving on the Tuesday so we will be ready to go first thing Wednesday morning.

Sunday 10th

As stated before, we are aiming to end official competition by dusk on Saturday evening. Sunday will be a Super Session day if the conditions allow or a 'relaxing/getting over hangovers before driving home' day!

Terms of attendance

The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.

Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
