Starboard Phantom Demo Kit

 Do you want to try Raceboard, but don't have the kit

 Problem solved

 The Raceboard Class has two Demo Starboard Phantom boards available for you to try. The boards will be available at all inland and cup events although you will need to book them in advance. The class may also be able to arrange rigs by prior arrangement.

Junior Team 15 Sailors - Special Event

For the junior 3.5, 4.5, 5.8 course this is a special event. There will be an experienced race coach on hand to help you through the first event of the season.

The normal entry fee of £15 will be increased to £20 for this event only to take account of the extra specialist coaching.

Format. There will be a combination of coaching and racing with all races counting towards the UKWA Inland Series

Food

Northampton Sailing Club offers competitors some of the best food you will find at any sailing club. But not only is it good-it is extreamly good value. They will be serving dinner on Saturday night, be sure to reserve your place at the table at registration. Also available will be breakfast, lunch and snacks all day!!!!!!

About the Club

The Club is situated at Pitsford Reservoir and is an ideal venue for sailors of all ages and abilities. The reservoir, near the A508 north of Northampton, covers 450 acres so there is never any problem getting onto the water. The site slopes down directly to the water with access by concrete slipways. The Clubhouse has modern facilities, a galley run by professional caterers, a bar and a comfortable lounge.

About the Inland series

The Inland series objective is to provide high quality racing for all fleets & classes & to include all levels of ability. There will be racing suited to the most experienced and most competative racers, racing for the club/recreational sailor as well as racing for newcomers. Especially welcome are our junior fleets & classes who may be experiencing two day racing for the first time.

From the A14 leave at Junction 2, take the A508 to Northampton. At the first island go streight on, at the second island turn left. The entrance to the club is on your left through the iron gates.

Camping

Overnight parking and camping will be permitted at the club on Friday and Saturday night. There will be a small charge. Excellent showers & toilets are available.

Terms of attendance

The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.

Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
