Slalom 5 - Brighton
Sat 7th - Sun 8th July
BSA Slalom Series event 5 - Brighton, Supported by Fanatic, North, ION in conjunction with Paddle round the peir
Following on from the success of the last events and especially the not so distant Worthing round 4 event which boasted 18 - 20mph winds and awesome downwind slalom, Brighton looks to offer much the same with great sea breezes and choppy water to test your speed and really make you feel like you are a world tour sailor.
K66 supported by Fanatic, North and ION want to go one better at this event and have already booked the wind, so whether its fighting for the title that gets you excited, or just cruising around with the locals on the Master Blast course you have to come down.
This year we have teamed up with Paddle round the peir which last year had 50,000 people visit thew event and over 500 competitiors as well as boasting over 100 exhibiters, this is a great way for windsurfing to get in the limelight !
All the major brands will be on hand to offer advice and let you try the latest and greatest gear on the market. Also should the wind stay away North and Fanatic have organised a huge selection of water events to test your racing and team spirit to the max with Paddleboarding and light wind freestyle to name a few.
Brighton has been at the forefront of windsurfing in UK since the early days as its cool summer winds and nice rolling swell means that anytime its windy you can sail.
parking has been allocated on the foreshore but there is no camping options on brighton sea front, please contact K66 fvor more info
Prizes from North, Fanatic, ION will be allocated to top 3 in each division
Parking is available on the sea front for free and campervans are welcome, Worthing has a busy nightlife so a few beers in town on Saturday night is a must!
