Camping Update 2
The Camping at Grafham is now full however there has been some additional spaces issued at Grafham Water Centre which is on the same site: There are some strict conditions please see below
Camping is now available at Grafham Water Centre. It is £9.50 per person, per night. Visitors will need to call them with a card and pay over the phone to confirm their space: 01480 810521.
The following points are really important and failure to adhere to the rules may jeopardise the Club being offered this facility for future events:
- Tents only
- No campervans, Motorhomes or Caravans.
- No alcohol allowed on their site at all - there will be under 18s onsite at the same time.
- No launching at all from their site.
Please note: When full the safety crew are camping here which is 6 miles from event site, they stayed last time and all was good:

What is The Champions Cup
The Champions Cup is the culmination of The Team 15 Program. Teams compete over two days to be crowned Team 15 Champion Club for 2019
New Champions Cup Rules for 2019
New for The 2019 Champions Cup, entry will be open to all Team 15 Clubs.
In previous years only the top two teams from the Team 15 Inter Club Series have been eligible to compete at The Champions Cup. This year we want to be more inclusive and all teams 15 clubs will be invited to attend. Your attention is drawn to Team15 Competition Rules – Entry, Equipment and Eligibility
- A teams top six results across any number of fleets will make up the overall team score.
- Teams can be made up of 2 to 15 sailors.
- Teams of less than 6 sailors will have points added to make their team results up to 6 members.
- Individual entries will also be accepted for anyone not part of a team.

How do I enter & how much will it cost?
The Champions Cup is the culmination of all the Team15 interclub events where teams from each T15 region compete to be crowned Champion!
Individuals from any club are also welcome to compete for individual prizes.
Who can compete?
Racing will take place in the following fleets: 3.5m, 4.5m, 5.8m, Techno 6.8m, Techno 7.8m as detailed in the Team15 Competition Rules.
How much will it cost?
Entry for two days is £50

How do I enter & how much will it cost?
The National Windsurfing Championships is the biggest windsurfing compertition to be held in the UK during 2019. National Titles will be awarded across the various fleets and classes to be raced.
Who can compete?
Racing will be in the following fleets and sub-divisions where notified:
- BIC Techno 293 - 6.8 Techno / 7.8 Techno / Techno+ 8.5
- RS:X
- Raceboard
- Formula Windsurfing
- Foils (Any Kit. Minimum age 17. No divisions will apply) Under 17's may be accepted by prior invitation only. To receive an invitation to compete please email racing@ukwindsurfing.com
Within these fleets the following age categories (divisions) may be recognised:
- Junior (aged 14 or under as at 31st December 2019) – Techno 293 6.8 only
- Junior (aged 16 or under as at 31st December 2019)
- Techno 293 OD 7.8 (over 17 born 2002 or before)
- Youth (aged 19 or under as at 31st December 2019) – 18 for RS:X Youth
- Master (35+ born 1983 or before)
- Veteran (50+ born 1968 or before)
- Super veteran (60+ born 1958 or before)
Within these fleets the following National class divisions may apply:
- Formula Windsurfing
- Formula National
- Raceboard
- 7.8 Raceboard, Raceboard Lightweight, Raceboard Heavyweight, Div II.

Junior/Youth Under 20/Full time student £50

Camping (tents and motorhomes – no caravans) is permitted at the club on selected weekends. You must book in advance via WebCollect.
Terms of attendance
The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.
Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
