One Hour Classic Challenge - event 1 - TBC

Sat 14th - Sun 15th June

The UKWA is pleased and excited to be bringing' The One Hour Classic Challenge' to the UK two events two great locations.

Format

The 'One hour Classic' event will have three races per day. Saturday no race before 12 noon, Sunday no race before 11am.

WingFoil race

Your entry fee gives you entry to all three races, you choose, do one, do two or do all three, same great price.

The course

As many laps as you can do on a 1km figure of 8 course. There will be a rabit start (a boat crosses in front of you, you start behind) sail accross the wind for 1000m gybe around a buoy, sail back to the start where you will gybe again and we will record you as you cross the line, repeat for one hour.

A briefing will be held before each race to detail the race and answer any questions.

How do I enter & how much will it cost.

Entry will be online only.

Junior, Youth (under 20) and Full Time Students £60

Adults £75

Entry will be restricted to the first 100 entries, first come first served, we are expecting this to be popular so don't delay, get your entry in today.

On Line Pre entry closes at 10pm on the Monday prior to the event. Should you miss the deadline please contact admin@ukwindsurfing.com

How do I Enter

UKWA members - please enter in the normal way.

Non-members - please enter below. Your entry includes UKWA membership for the weekend.

You can choose to enter fin, foil, wing or a combination of all three for just one entry fee. You can change or update your entry on the day, just visit the blue Marquee.

We acknowledge attending your first event can be both confusing and daunting, our aim is to make this as simple as possible via our team on shore and on the water to ensure you have a great experience and will enjoy events for years to come. Terms of attendance

The UKWA reserves the right to exclude or expel any member / non member / family / group or individual from its event site should it be considered that they may by their actions or the perception of such bring the UKWA, its hosts other parties or individuals into disrepute. The UKWA Committee, in part or in it’s entirety, shall be the sole judge of such action, and their decision is deemed final.

Persons expelled shall leave the event site within 30 minutes of any verbal notice and shall not return. Exclusion may be deemed temporary (this event) or permanent (all events). Permanent expulsion shall be the decision of the elected committee and shall be confirmed in writing within 21 days of any temporary expulsion, however any excluded individual may not attend any UKWA events during this period of consideration.
