UK Formula Champion Keith Atkinson gets BBC Sportsman Nomination

The BBC has again nominated Keith Atkinson, the UK's 2006 Triple Formula Windsurfing Champion, for the BBC South East sports awards. The ceremony is to be held on the 4th December and will be filmed for Broadcast on BBC South East and Southern counties radio and is also televised on the BBC South East news.

The BBC have recognised Keith Atkinson's outstanding achievements during this year particularly in UK where he's dominated the Formula race scene having secured no less than 28 outright race wins from 34 National races. In May Keith won the British Open Title in style by winning 7 out of 7 races. He then went on to win the all the 2006 UKWA inland events to give him the 2006 Inland Title and then by winning the majority of the National sea events, in the British Championship series, he also gained the overall 2006 UK Formula Windsurfing Championship Title.

Keith is a Starboard International Team Rider and is also sponsored by Eurovans, Physioactive and Fit To Perform.
