Typhoon on board
16 April 2007
Typhoon International are pleased to announce their new sponsorship of the UKWA and its associated race crew clothing support for the 2007 season.
2007 is typhoon's 60th anniversary and in those years the brand has forged itself as one of the UK's leading dry suit and watersport clothing manufacturer. pioneering dry suit and wetsuit production from 1947 to the present day the company has seen many changes over the years and has constantly evolved to provide leading quality products combined with cutting edge fabrics and materials at affordable prices for the domestic and now international market.
Agreeing to support the UKWA's race crew is another step in Typhoon's commitment to supporting watersport participation as well as looking to work with the race crews in developing ever better products for the end user. Typhoon's dry suit supply will ensure that the crews remain dry, comfortable and effective during the long periods of being afloat over a race weekend.
Chris Lewis's recent move to Typhoon has helped facilitate this deal and he is keen to see close links developed between the association and Typhoon and believes the tie up is of great benefit to both parties involved. having provided Dry suit technology to the RNLI as well as the military Chris is confident that even Mr Proffit and co. can be accommodated and kept warm and dry!
