Bournemouth/Poole event info

Final Blaster and Prize Giving info.
The racing on saturday will take place off the beach between Bournemouth and Boscombe piers.
There is parking all along the esplanade -except for the 100m before B'mouth pier. Access is from the Boscombe Pier end .
Directions- follow main routes to Boscombe,which can be approached from all directions; once in Boscombe follow brown and white tourism signs to Boscombe Pier (and Beaches ). Turn tight at roundabout in front of pier where you will see "gated " access to the esplanade .
Access is restricted to between 09.00 and 17.00 . Please drive along towards B'mouth pier ; use marked bays for parking ; and purhase a ticket . Do not arrive before 9.00 am -parking is limited until gates opened .
Racing schedule. The registration van will be open 9.30 to 11.00. Racing is scheduled for between 12.00 and 15.00/15.30 and based on the Fat Face format.

Those going on to the Prize Giving Party - obviously everyone! as entry to the racing includes your party ticket- can pack up and disperse by 17.0o , leaving plenty of time to get fed and watered ; showered and changed, etc .
Sandbanks, Poole is 15/20 minute drive away with plenty of 24 hour parking available on the sandbanks roadside and main car park .

Prizegiving. Doors open at the Sandbanks Hotel party room at 19.30 . Of course you can arrive earlier and use the great facilities the hotel offers - bar and food.
Prizegiving is scheduled to start at 20.30 and includes the annual championship awards for all disciplines ; and later in the proceedings the Windsurfer of theYear Award. All finished by dancing the night away to a live band.
