With a promising forecast for the bank holiday weekend Bridlington is preparing itself for the 2007 British Open Racing Championships. The venue has for many years been a favourite of ukwa racers, but this years event will also include a round of Freewave .

As in the past there will be the opportunity to use the leisure pool on Saturday evening - foc , courtesy of event sponsors East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Parking and overnight stay is provided for vans and camper vans along the length of the Alexnndre Parade situated at North Beach - with access only at the northern end. Space is at a premium -so please park sensibly ; bigger vans will need to be parked at an angle to ensure clear access in front for emergency vehicles, the general public and the dotto train ! Please do not leave unnecessary gaps or take more space than you really need! Rigs and rigging should be done on the beach.
At the access point to the esplanade there is a disabled parking area which must be kept clear at all times .There is overflow parking permitted on the lower esplanade below the disabled bays - there will be PA service to this area so you can be kept informed at all times.
