Hayling, season kick-off
14 March 2007
The first event of the season is not far off... and every effort has been made to build upon the success of the '06 Slalom events.
Hayling Island has built a reputation for hosting memorable windsurfing events. It is a venue that always attracts a good attendance, but with so much more on offer this year, could we see a record number of competitors and windsurfing enthusiasts converging on Westbeach?
As well as round 1 of the 2007 JP/Neil Pryde Slalom Championship - "off the beach", masterblaster fun racing following the formula of the Fat Face Festival for recreational riders, the Tushingham Cup; and the chance to compete in this years F2 Speedgun Challenge.
The windsurfing industry will be well represented - offering clinics by sponsored sailors and demo kit.
Andy Biggs Windsurfing will also be sponsoring the Saturday evening activities at the Inn on the Beach - all participants will be treated to a meal, and your host at the Inn, Carl, has laid on an entertainer to round off the day.
24th and 25th March - Beachlands, Hayling Island - be there!
