A great bank holiday weekend of racing at christcurch British Open.

The formula fleet attracted top class entries from Alberto Menegatti (ITA456); Valentin Zwygast (SUI322); Kurosh Kiani (DEN13); and Allison Shreeve (AUS911). Allison was completing her visit to uk before moving on to the formula Grand Prix in Sopot,Poland- the last leg of this european tour to promote theFormula One-Design for 2012.

However the star turn of the weekend fell to Ross Williams (GBR83) making an unscheduled , but nevertheless welcome, visit to UK .

RSX fleet also welcomed an international racer - Jenifer Kesik (POL215) - who brought with her fond memories of her last visit to Christchurch for the fomula youth worlds in 2005. She had a good weekend- 1st woman and 3rd overall.

There was a close fight for 1st place in the raceboard fleet - with Robert Kent eventually getting the upper hand over Marc Carney on a tie break!

Last, but not least in the Techno 293, where Sam Sills was not having it all his own way! George Bowles and Matthew Brown put in strong performances;Kieran Martin continued his dominance this year in the 6.8 division - also fnishing 4th overall. Chloe Bennett leading girl and Saskia Sills 1st 6.8 girl.
