JP/Pryde Series 1..Clacton kicks off the Slalom season

Round 1 of the new 2008 JP/Pryde Slalom Series kicks off at Clacton over the weekend of 12th /13th April.

"We are pleased to announce that for 2008 Pryde Group UK will be joining forces with the driving force of all competitive British windsurfing - the UKWA (United KingdomWindsurfing Association). We see Slalom as the most competitive and more importantly
the most accessible form of competition windsurfing." ...commented Chris Lewis

The UKWA will run and organise all the on water logistics in terms of race entry, fleet organisation, briefings, and of course racing! PGUK will provide marketing support and exposure through advertising and promotion, and of course will be providing event support in the way of merchandise, demo kit, give aways, unique event promotions, technique clinics from the sponsored team, as
well as website and magazine advertising, follow up and editorial.

The UK's leading retailers have been invited to host a round of the series- and SurfSki (Colchester) have stepped up to the mark to co-sponsor the first round at Clacton. Both venue and host are well known to windsurfers and the UKWA - both tried and trusted !
