Update from the Formula Worlds at Portimao
14 September 2008
On the penultimate day at the Formula Worlds, Ross is sitting in 4th place. Ross didn't have much luck yesterday as he got slammed (which is not like Ross!) at the last gybe of the last race. Another competitor ran over his rig and broke Ross' mast.
James Briggs is learning about international regattas and lying in 66th place. Jo Wright is learning about the new Formula olympic board proposal and sitting in 14th place.
Yours truly is in 26th place overall (85 male competitors) and 3 points behind 1st Master.
Woijtek is ruling the roost in the windy conditions. Conditions are perfect here with wind, sunshine and loads of racing (11 races so far).
