Volunteer wanted - Director of Finance

After many years of dedicated service to the UKWA Paul Robinson has decided to stand aside as UKWA Treasurer and as director of Finance.

Paul took over as treasure following the sad death of Arabella, there was much work to do, to put the UKWA administration back in order and we owe Paul a great debt of gratitude for achieving this and continuing to operate a much improved and modernised system. Pauls wife Sue has kindly agreed to take over this roll therefore we are confident that there will be a seamless transition at the end of June. All contacts will remain as same.

Paul has also served as Director of Finance for many years on the UKWA Committee and his management of the finances has enabled the association to invest heavily in equipment over recent years which leaves our safety fleet in excellent condition.

The UKWA is therefore seeking a replacement volunteer Director of Finance to serve on its main committee. Paul has kindly provided a job description attached here JOB DESCRIPTION.

Should you be interested in volunteering you will not only be serving the UKWA membership but you will have the opportunity to develop your own knowledge of windsurfing across the 5 disciplines we run and influence the future direction of competitive windsurfing in the UK.
