Over the next week, Britain's top windsurfers, Nick Dempsey and Bryony Shaw will set out to better their Qingdao Olympic Test Event results when competing in the first ever official RS:X World Championship from 23-30 September in Torbale, Italy.

Animal Poole Windfest - Slalom
Sadly, not enough wind for championship racing.
However, yet again there were lots of other attractions to keep sailors amused while waiting for wind, and the windsurfing industry were out in force with indoor equipment displays, and of course, a now legendary party on saturday night! -
Tenby Slalom - 5
The Tenby event is going to happen, and though no one can promise on delivering perfect conditions the chances are that the wind at this time of year will provide us with at least some decent racing. See the Slalom 5 event info.

Fat Face Festival - Results
Over 300 competitors enjoyed fantastic conditions at Hayling Island, with near gale-force winds on Saturday and not much less on Sunday - but with sunshine! A quick look through the results shows that some people came out of (racing) retirement to join the fun. Update: Night windsurfing results added.

Weymouth 2006 Harbour Dash
15 entrants enjoyed sunshine and F4/5 (12-16knots) Cross shore westerly winds to sail the open sea course from Overcombe Corner, upwind into Portland Harbour and out again for a 3 mile blistering close reach to the finish on the beach.

Ross Williams wins the slalom at the Euro-Cup Silvaplana
The final day of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Silvaplana brought the event to a thrilling climax. Today the famous marathon race was sailed. It was this historical final race which decided about the victory in the discipline Racing as Ross Williams was fighting head to head with his hardest opponent Arnon Dagan for top honours on the podium. Welsh Hi Ho Update
The weekend will follow a similar theme to the previous two years though this year we are hoping that cliff jumping will be going ahead without any hitches! Rowing has been organised so we need to sort out some proper teams! and with the boat we are hoping to get round to see some more beaches weather and wind permitting.

UKWA racer Liam Round GBR948 takes under 15 title at Youth & Master Formula Worlds in Westende, Belgium. Racing over 5 days in light wind conditions Liam beat his nearest under 15 rival by 15 points.

Eastern Cup Formula Report
Clacton was the destination for the UKWA and this year's Eastern Cup. The great forces of nature had conspired to deny us a trip to Felixtowe as the spectre of coastal erosion took its toll on the Felixtowe sea defences and eroded away the promenade where we supposed to be staying.
