The cream of the UK's windsurfing talent descended on WPNSA this weekend to receive their trophies and receive applause from their peer's. All windsurfing disciplines were represented including Olympic RSX, Slalom, Speed, Freestyle, Course Racing and Wave. The UKWA windsurfer of the year was also crowned. The candidates are drawn from the best national and international competitors and are then voted on by the windsurfing public.
Course Racing (Saturday) and Fun Slalom (Sunday) at Farmoor this weekend. Oxford Sailing Club is the place to be this weekend. The London Windsurfing Association are running course racing for all course racing fleets on Saturday. Dan Simpson is running Fun Slalom on Sunday at Farmoor.
Due to a zone training event this weekend of which I was not aware this Sundays Frostbite series race at Rutland is cancelled. You can be assured that the 2, two day events will proceed as planned.

With a fantastic turn out of 9 Juniors, 16 Raceboards, 20 Formula, 23 Technos and 13 RS:X, you could tell that the weekend was going to be a good event and with the wind forecast on the Saturday a challenging one as well.
