Whitwell - UKWA Inland 5
With a fantastic turn out of 9 Juniors, 16 Raceboards, 20 Formula, 23 Technos and 13 RS:X, you could tell that the weekend was going to be a good event and with the wind forecast on the Saturday a challenging one as well. A good onshore breeze blowing on Saturday morning proved tricky for competitors. Despite this fact, everyone was out there giving it a good go.

UKWA Wave Final: West Wittering 1-2 Nov
Please find below the UKWA wave rankings going into the West Wittering event. Here's looking forward to a nail biting finish to the UKWA Wave Tour. One thing is for sure - it's going to be cold in those north-east winds on Saturday so bring or buy a neoprene hat!! The wind is forecast to be windy over lunchtime so we want to get on with the competition. Please be on time for registration and rigged up and ready for competition at 10:00.
Due to the forecast REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FROM 8AM on the Saturday down at the Club on the beach. -
Dakine Weymouth Speed Week
Update: ITV coverage added. Weymouth speed week was superb this year, with the harbour record being broken on the 1st day by Anders Bringdal at 38.52 knots. Three great counting rounds in the week which gave us our speed champions for 2008 Pete Young with 37.29 knots and Zara Davis with 30.89 knots. Prizes and Trophy were donated by Spartan wetsuits.

A final day of receding winds through the afternoon only allowed the Youth and Junior Windsurfing events to take place, leaving the pro windsurfers time to play off the water during the weekend. Young guns shine at National Windsurfing Championships
The RYA's top young windsurfing talent lived up to their billing going into this weekend's inaugural RYA/UKWA National Windsurfing Championships picking up the crop of top titles at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA).
More than 150 windsurfers from all over Britain did battle over the course of two-days as for the first time the RYA joined forces with UKWA to run a combined National Championship event.
