The second leg of a short european tour to promote the formula bid for 2012 begins with a visit to UK by Allison Shreeve (AUS911).The three times (and current) formula world champion will be competing in the Inlands 2 , before moving onto Christchurch for the British Open....

Britain's budding windsurf stars of tomorrow have the chance to show off their fledgling talents this weekend (17-18 May) when the RYA stages its first ever RYA National Junior Windsurfing Championships at Whitwell, Rutland Water.

Despite the lack of wind & waves at Rhosneigr, the 35 entrants who made their way to North Wales had a cracking weekend of longboard windsurfing, wake boarding, snowboarding and endless toboggan runs at Llandudno Ski Centre and of course some quality evening entertainment courtesy of Dave Buckland and his crew.

Less than 3 weeks to the opening event in the all new 2008 British Kona Cup-a 5 event series held alongside UKWA national events from May to July.

WELSH CUP - Series 1...
The UKWA CUP SERIES kicked off last weekend with the Welsh Cup and the UKWA's first trip to Swansea; hosted by the Mumbles Yacht Club (MYC). Four races were completed for all fleets.

Inland series gets off to a fantastic start
The 2008 Inland series gets off to a fantastic start with 88 entries at Carsington. Despite the extreme cold, the race team gave competitors nine rounds of course racing which was both exciting and extremely competitive.

Andy King wins in Ireland
Andy defeated rivals Steve Thorpe (2nd) and John Hibbard (3rd) to win the Pro Fleet in round 1 of the 4 Nations. Louise Emery won the Amateurs and Tom Knox the Juniors.

4 Nations Ireland - day 3 report
A perfect head high swell greeted the sailors on day three of the Four Nations Championships in Brandon Bay, Ireland.
