The Welsh Hi Ho will be making a welcome return this year. Once again the venue will be the picturesque cove of Dale in Pembrokeshire, though Dale will only be a base for operations with wave sailing and cliff jumping locations within a 6 mile radius.

Calema Final Results

New Corporate Member - Merman Imports
Merman Import is a board and sail retailer who's business is internet based, but don't worry about not being able to see the kit: At least once a month they will be staging Demo weekends. These will take place at various locations accross the UK and Ireland. This will enable you to try out any of the kit we have on offer.

Combined Events at Marazion
Marazion will see course racing and slalom events run at the same race site and other events in future if the concept works. Many competitors make a holiday of this event in the beautifully picturesque location of Marazion overlooked by St Michael's Mount. So this year Marazion reverts to a four day event.

Windsurfers take on rowers - at rowing
RYA Team GBR RSX youth squad member Ed Strange and his sister Kate took on the best in the English Indoor Rowing Championships this weekend (29th Jan) at Manchester Velodrome. They both competed at their best and Ed finished an amazing 2nd in the Junior 14 class and took the silver medal, which was presented to him by Sir Steve Redgrave.

Nick & Bryony Win RSX Miami comp
Congratulations to Nick Dempsey & Bryony Shaw, flying the flag on the top steps of the podium. Lucy Horwood seems to have crossed over to daggerboard equiped racing from formula & picked up 3rd place, ahead of team mate & former Womens Formula World Champion Christine who took 5th place.

Junior Windsurfers Cross Channel Attempt
UKWA Juniors Dan Simpson of Oxfordshire and Richard Jones of Derbyshire are planning to windsurf across the English Channel this spring. They aim to become the youngest windsurfers to achieve this feat and to raise a lot of money for the NSPCC and the Oxford Children's Hospital Campaign, see Dan's site for details.

Indoor Championship results
Ricardo Campello and Daida Moreno prolong their London titles. Nik Baker's Domination of the slalom wasn't quite enough to get back his overall title, Ricardo's 2nd slalom and 1st in the jump sealed the overall result.
