great start to slalom season...
The 2008 JP/Pryde Series got underway today in Clacton.
In the Top Flight there was a welcome return to competition for Jamie Hawkins (GBR 96)-jamie enjoyed his first event after a break of 5 years.! It was much closer at the top of Challenge fleet with young pretender Paul Kearns fighting off the challenge of masters Adrian Wallis & Dave "vinnie" Standing. -

The UKWA Inland National Championships starts at Carsinton Water on 19th /20th April.
Everything is in place for another fantastic Inland Series. Racing for all fleets from 3.5

The BRITISH Kona Cup 2008
Series of Kona one-design race events taking place around the UK over the coming months... There will also be a Kona Open fleet available for Kona riders who do not currently have the official Kona One Design rigs to use with their Kona's.

JP/Pryde Series 1..Clacton kicks off the Slalom season

Techno Open Race Training
The training will follow the UKWA London Windsurfing Racing event on Saturday 5th April. It will follow the usual race training format, with a mix of water and shore based sessions, including debriefing and individual sailor feedback.

Ireland 4 Nations update ...ferry/accom.deals
A quick reminder (as if you needed it ! ) that the 2008 wave season starts next month with Round1 of the 4 Nations Series. The event takes place from April 17th to 21st the event will be hosted by the Irish Windsurfing Association and Jamie Knox Windsurfing.

The 2008 Techno 293 European Championships, held in Chivitavecchia , near Rome , has finished. The brits put in a good performance and ended with podium placings in both the 7.8 and 6.8 divisions for boys.
