Stena Line UKWA Cup Championship Series!

UKWA Chairman Bob Ingram expressed his delight in welcoming ferry operator Stena Line who have decided to become the major sponsor for the 2012 UKWA Cup Championship Series.

One of Europe's largest ferry operators, with 35 ships and 19 routes, in 2011 Stena Line carried over 14 million passengers and 3.1 million vehicles.

Stena Line operate 5 different routes across the Irish Sea, Cairnryan - Belfast, Liverpool - Belfast, Holyhead - Dublin City, Holyhead - Dun Laoghaire and Fishguard - Rosslare.

Stena Line have agreed to provide all the trophies for the Series and for each event have donated a special £50 off voucher to go to the overall winner which can be used as part payment for travel on any of their Irish Sea crossings. In addition Stena Line have set up a special deal for all UKWA members who can obtain a 10% discount on Irish Sea crossings by logging on to the UKWA website and following the special link.

At the first event in the Stena Line UKWA Cup Championship Series, which takes place over the May Bank Holiday weekend at Pwllheli, sailors will receive their special Stena Line sail stickers which they will be sporting throughout the summer of 2012.
