A look back at a successful 2013 Hayling Slalom season and a look forward to what's in store for 2014.

At the last event of the season a "sailors meeting" was held to discuss good/bad points from this year, and things to do differently next year.

The inland championship came to a conclusion at Datchet Resevoir, the event was won by Chris Bond who took 1st place in all 4 races.

After 6 events the 2013 UKWA Formula series came to an exciting climax at Weymouth.

A sunny, windy and picturesque Pwhelli hosted the 4th edition of the UKWA Cup series with some of the best racing conditions of the year.

For the third edition of the cup series the fleet found itself in Bridlington where, as usual, the welcome was very warm.

The UKWA AGM was held at Herne Bay Sailing Club on 26 May 2013, including election of officers and a constitution change proposed.

The bank holiday weekend saw the UKWA heading to Herne Bay for both the North Sea Cup and the second round of the UK Cup series.
