Support at Techno 293 Worlds

The Techno Class Association is looking at the possibility of providing coach support at the Techno 293 World Championships in Cagliari, Sardinia from the 24-31 October 2015.

In order to assess whether we would be able to provide this support and to put costings together for pre-event training and coach support during the event we need an indication of interest.

We have a couple of options available depending on uptake. All costs below are based on 10 sailors so if there is less interest the cost per sailor would change to reflect this.

Option 1: To send 2 coaches and charter 2 RIBs (one per course) with 1 day pre-event training/practice race support at a cost of around £560 per sailor (based on 10 sailors) or £510 with support only on the 6 race days.
Option 2: To send 1 coach and charter 2 RIBs, with one RIB being manned by willing parents, at a cost of around £420 per sailor (based on 10 sailors).
Option 3: To not send any coaches and charter 1 or 2 RIBs which would need to be manned by parents who would also be willing to attend the coaches briefing each day and feedback information back to sailors and parents, at around £200 per sailor (based on 10 sailors)
Option 4: Not send a coach or the rib and sailors use the Universal bag rib that will be available. Plus a willing parent who would also be willing to attend the coaches briefings every day and feedback the information to the parents and sailors

Please note; that if there are two or more courses, with only one RIB/coach, not all of the sailors/courses can be supported at the same time and that time would be split as equally as possible.
